A huge Thank You to Mark and team for a fantastic job well done!
Everyone admires our fabulous garden.
The lads worked so hard in the coldest of weather - always professional and extremely courteous.
We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rope Garden Nurseries.
Indeed, they will be back for the next phase.
Mr and Mrs Shaw.
Miss Taylor wanted us to level up her back garden and build a completely maintenance free with an area for her dog to rest.
We designed our "Plonker seat", taking a traditional loving seat idea, adding a central wall of water - or white wine at the inaugural bar b que - with its remote controlled LED lighting. Seats for two with under storage for the red wine bottles also backlit with LEDs.
Two Argent circle kits were integrated to form children's maize puzzles.
Argent blocks were laid in a lattice pattern around the perimeter of the area and Granit Eclipse Paving laid in a random pattern pointed in black.
The front garden was laid to Granit Eclipse Ember. A raised bed built out of concrete block and masked with dry stack Stoneface veneer Oyster coped with Lazaro Marble Pearl Bullnose center stones and a flash of Astroturf.
The Johnsons wanted us to remove some major trees and stumps and replace their front wall, we matched the house brick and coped with Granit bullnose units.
They also wanted to extend the drive to allow for three cars. The original design was circular but at the last minute, I changed the design to angular. Worried that the design was too busy using the whole Argent and Metro ranges and colours they loved it and added as we progressed.
After the initial consultation with Mark at Rope Lane Nursery. Various patterns and designs were discussed, opting for the one we have now.
This has not been an easy drive to tackle as the concrete was 18 inchs thick in some places, which the men had to remove. Ideas have popped up along the way and the men have been willing and able to adapt to what we wanted. I would also like to add that the men have been very polite and hardworking. The end result is a very stylish driveway, that is just what we wanted.
- Mr and Mrs Johnson.
Mrs Drew wanted a drive of circles with an area that she could park a works van at weekends.
We combined Argent Buff blocks with Metro grey, maroon and rose planks. An added twist with the large circle laid to grass guard which allows grass to grow through allowing parking but keeping the softer look.
Having made a decision to have the drive replaced our aim was to have something aesthetically pleasing, contemporary, functional with an ability to accommodate our three vehicles but with two conditions; I wanted circles and grass.
Having discussed initial thoughts with Mark at Rope Garden Nursery I was confident that he would be able to work with our brief and he had some suggestions that we liked including the grass guard which we didn't know existed previously. When we saw the plan this was exactly what we hoped for and we were eager and excited to watch the transformation.
Our biggest decision was what colours to choose. We went with Mark's recommendation. The team arrived on day 1 as agreed and the work began. Over the following days, whatever the weather the team worked tirelessly and professionally to remove the Old drive and gradually build the picture matching the plan. Sections were cordoned Off to make sure we didn't disturb the laid stones but this was done in such a way that access to the property wasn't restricted and it didn't impact our day to day living.
TO say we are thrilled with the end result is an understatement. This has surpassed our expectations. The quality products used and precision Of laying the stones have all made for a perfect scene. Our neighbours are envious and have called round to admire the finished product.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Mark and the team for their professional, efficient yet friendly approach and the pride they take in their work to deliver such an outstanding end result.

Another new build in Sandbach. We designed a French oak and cedar shingle shelter with a Chinaman's hat that allows then to have a fire pit in there.
A raised border with concrete block and timber purlins is masked with Stoneface dry stack slate veneers and coped with Granit Eclipse bullnose units.
The paving is Symphony Blauw with blue detail.
We planted it all out including fig trees, strawberries, a herb garden and much more - we know a good Nursery - ha!
I don't apologise for the length of this narrative because it was a massive project.
Check out the tongue in cheek video below.
The couple desired that rather than move let me completely transform their home and double the footprint.
The wish list consisted of an Orangery with side extension with a vaulted ceiling. Let there be more light was every second sentence, so maximum glazing minimal frame thickness and plenty of roof light.
Within this space, they needed a drying room for their sailing tackle, downstairs wet room including toilet. A large lounge. Fitted kitchen with diner. All with a wet underfloor heating system.
Outside we paved all around, creating paths and a new driveway with Marshalls large size tegula blocks. Raised timber purlin borders and a security fence and gate.
Finally, we dropped the road kerb and re tarmaced the pavement.
Boom - complete transformation , that's why we're are called 'One Call For All'.
